How to get your first client?

It has happened!!!!! I got my first paying client, and it was less than a month ago!!!!

It was a long process and I am super proud of it. Now how did I achieve this?

The answer is by posting where my ideal client is!!

Ok, I know that sounds easy and in fact it was not that easy to do. After over a year of promoting on Social Media, specifically Instagram, then opening two TikTok channels, and posting on Pinterest, unfortunately my sales did not come from these platforms, it was on a social network!!!

It was not Facebook, which I really like and where I recently started a women's group, but rather the site that we all forget...

It was on Reddit!!!!!!!!! Yes, who would have thought!!!!

To summarise, my lesson so far is:

• On social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and PInterest you can increase your views and get new leads and followers.

• Thanks to professional sites, such as LinkedIn you can build your email list and increase your views too.

• And with apps like Reddit, you can meet new people, ask questions, and even book your first sale!! It is a very good website to connect and learn from others too.

So sometimes it takes a bit of research, testing and networking to find were your ideal clients hang out. Another method is to attract them with free products also know as lead magnets or services and promote them the way that suites your business the best!

I am looking forward to selling more items and services online in the future, and I wish you the same too!
